At the Lift Up Carolinas Thrift Store, we take pride in offering high-quality items to our shoppers. Every donation to our thrift store is carefully sorted by our dedicated members to ensure only the best clothing, accessories, and home goods are placed on our shelves. Items that aren’t suitable for sale are thoughtfully passed along to other local nonprofits, so nothing goes to waste.
Running a successful thrift store takes time, heart, and teamwork. Our members are in the store nearly every day, working behind the scenes to sort, clean, and price donations. Many of the people who shop at our Charlotte thrift store are also the ones who donate to it—making it a true community effort that gives back in more ways than one.

All sales are final — no returns or exchanges.
We accept credit and debit cards (except American Express). Sorry, no checks.
Items without tags aren’t for sale and will be reprocessed by our team. Prices are final and non-negotiable.
Technology Access Program
Lift Up Carolinas operates the Technology Access Program through its thrift store, offering affordable refurbished computers and accessories to individuals and families. All donated computers are restored through a Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher, helping bridge the digital divide, support literacy, and reduce electronic waste.
Colored Tag Discounts
Each month, two colored tags offer big savings—either 50% or 75% off regular prices. Look for signs throughout the thrift store to see which colors are on sale!
Military and CMS Discounts
CMS employees and current or former military personnel receive 20% off their entire thrift store purchase every day with valid ID.
